It was the time of year again to travel to Perth and camp with all my family members that could make it. I really look forward to this weekend, it's always so much fun to see everyone. I had a great weekend and can't wait for next year.

If you're happy and you know it...

Cry out loud. If you're happy and you know cry out loud. If you're happy and you know and you really want to show it, if you're happy and you know it cry out loud.

Note from Mommy: This picture was taken on Christmas morning, I just came across it and had to share it with everyone.

Sparty, Daddy and Me

Little Skater

Tonight Mommy, Daddy and Uncle John took me skating at the Scotia Bank Place (formerly the Corel Center). Mommy said she wants me to take skating lessons when I am a bit bigger, I think it would be fun. I had a lot of fun skating. Mommy, Cathy and DJ helped me skate around the rink... it was nice of them to hold my hands but I really wanted to do it on my own. I was less then 15 months old the first time I skated, how old were you?

Also today is my Aunt Sandi's Birthday.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY AUNT SANDI!

Messy in a good way

Today I made a mess and I was allowed. Mommy and Daddy didn't say a word. I took these funny coloured sticks and marked all over Mommy's big book and she was happy. Mommy called me an arty... don't know what that means.

Note from Mommy: I called her an artist not arty.... same difference though.

We love you Daddy!

For Valentine's day Mommy and I made an appointment to go and get our pictures taken for Daddy. We were really excited about and planned it weeks in advance. The day before we were going to the picture taking place a lady called and told Daddy all about it... Mommy and I were sad... it wasn't a surprise anymore. Daddy still really liked the picture though and wanted us to share it with you.

Merci Beaucoup!!!

I was very excited yesterday when I got home from daycare there was a parcel for me at my house. I had no idea what it could be so I thought maybe if I open it I can see. Oh I was so happy... it was books for me from Grandma and Grandpa in Minot. They are really special books mommy keeps telling me they come from France, maybe that's why the words are all funny.

Thanks a lot Grandma and Grandpa, I love BOOKS!

I love Recycling!

I'm just a little baby and that means that no one likes to listen to anything I have to say. I was talking to Mommy and Daddy today and I was trying to tell them about recycling and how important it is to give me a nice world to grow up in. I don't think the old people get it. I am protesting, I am going to stay in this big blue box with Kathy and Amber until the whole world recycles as much as they can.

Ten minutes later: I think I have proven my point, I want out now so I can go to bed.

Always Happy!

Honestly I'm not grumpy!

Message from Mommy: To anyone that thinks Cynthia is always so happy, here's a picture to prove she's not. Cynthia has decided that she doesn't want to nap on the weekends anymore and this is the result. Enjoy the picture, I'll be holding on to it for future blackmailing.

Bubble in the Snow (aka the White Stuff)

Today Mommy and Daddy dressed me up like a great big piece of bubble gum and took me outside. Mommy put on her big winter boots, they are just like mine but bigger. Mommy took me outside into the middle of all the white stuff and just put me down. I didn't know what to do so I cried for a bit. Then Mommy made a few balls and showed me how much fun the white stuff could be. She says it's called Snow, but I think it's called white stuff.

Peek-A-Boo

Mommy and Daddy taught me this really fun game. They cover their eyes and say "Peek-A-Boo". I love watching them do it so I thought that I would try playing too.

Can you see me? I bet you can't.

"PEEK-A-BOO, I see you!"

Yummy!

With my old age I have been becoming more and more independent. I just love doing things on my own. I especially love to feed myself and have been getting pretty good at it. Mommy and Daddy say I am really funny to watch when I am eating. Sometimes I accidentally get food all over my face, in my ears and in my hair. I don't really know how it gets in all those places, I don't mean to.
